Art from the Heart - Become a sponsor today!

Art from the Heart 2021 is right around the corner (April 19-23)! This event, now in its thirteenth year, raises funds for Mary B. Austin's PTA-supported, year-round art program that benefits ALL students in our school. This event wouldn't be the success that it is without the support of the many individuals and businesses who have supported us over the years. Sponsors play an important role in Art from the Heart, especially this year as our event will be held virtually and without our usual silent auction. We are seeking individuals, families, and businesses who would like to be a part of this great event through a monetary contribution. Limited Edition "Austin Artists" T-shirt benefitting Art from the Heart

The PTA is excited to offer a new spirit shirt for our Mary B. Austin students, teachers, parents, and friends. Our light blue "Austin Artists" shirt is available for preorder until Friday, March 19. Shirts will be sent home with students the week of April 19 and can be worn on Friday, April 23 in celebration of Art from the Heart week. These shirts can also be worn any Friday during the school year. Youth and adult sizes are $15 each, adult 2xl-3xl are $18. Go to the Mary B. Austin Spirit Store to place your order and support our wonderful art program.

March 18, 2021 is hereby declared Box Tops App Download Day at Mary B. Austin Elementary! We need your help in earning our school CASH through your grocery purchases. The first step is to download the Box Tops App. We've created a special day to help you remember and to get as many parents, teachers, and friends as possible to download the app. Box Tops for Education has been a HUGE source of funds for the PTA in the past, and we want to keep that going, but we need your help! Download the app on or before Thursday, March 18, then visit the Facebook event and comment with your name to be entered to win a fun prize! For more information, contact Ryann Wilcoxon (Mary B. Calling all 3rd grade parents: March Teacher/Staff Treats

To show our love and gratitude, the PTA coordinates with a different grade level each month to provide our teachers/staff with some special treats or snacks. In February, our second grade parents provided Bake My Day cookies and our teachers/staff were thrilled with their sweet treat (see photos above). Now its time for our third grade parents to show our faculty some love! Third grade parents have the month of March and are collecting donations to provide all teachers and staff with a coffee treat from Yellowhammer coffee. Thank you to those who have already contributed. Third grade parents still wishing to help out can send a contribution via Venmo to @Austin-PTA.
